What to Submit
Please submit two separate videos.
Video 1: Dramatic Monologue
Choose a dramatic monologue from a movie, television show, stage play, or book.
Length: 1–3 minutes
Video 2: Comedic Monologue
Choose a comedic monologue from a movie, television show, stage play, or book.
Length: 1–3 minutes
Before Each Video
At the beginning of each video, please clearly state:
- Your name
- Your age
- The character or characters you are interested in
If you are open to multiple roles, simply say: “I am interested in multiple roles.”
Memorization
Your monologues do not need to be memorized.
You may hold the script, place it near the camera, or read from a tablet or computer. We are looking at your acting choices, emotion, delivery, and storytelling.

A quiet, gothic-appearing man who lives alone.
Sarah
Keith’s warm and observant neighbor.
Ben
Sarah’s young son.
Madison Lowman
Mother of the Lowman family.
Kenneth Lowman
Father of the Lowman family.
Brayden Lowman
Older son of the Lowman family.
Hayden Lowman
Younger son of the Lowman family.
Lydia
Grandmother of the Lowman family.
Rita “Sparrow”
A widow who maintains the preparedness routines left behind by her late husband.
Hank “Compass”
Tom’s longtime friend, heard over the CB radio.
A Note About Characters
MISDELIVERED is an original production that is still being written and developed. Additional characters may be added as the script is finalized.
The role you are ultimately cast in may not appear on this list. If cast, you will receive the completed script with plenty of time to read it, become familiar with your character, and prepare before rehearsals begin.
How to Send Your Audition
Upload your videos using one of these options:
- YouTube: Set videos to Unlisted, not Private.
- Google Drive: Set sharing to “Anyone with the link can view.”
- Dropbox, OneDrive, or another file-sharing service: Make sure we can view the links.
Email your name, age, character interest, and both video links to:

Before You Send
- You recorded two separate videos.
- Both videos begin with your introduction.
- Both videos are 1–3 minutes long.
- You can be clearly seen and heard.
- Your links work.
- Your sharing settings allow anyone with the link to view.
